Day #2: I am Loved

God loves you equally on your good and bad days. There is nothing you can do or not do to change His mind. Jeremiah 31:3, “The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” Welcome to day number 2 and thanks for joining me on this 21-day journey of discovering who we are in Christ. You are loved. There is nothing you can do wrong that would make Him love you less. There is nothing extra you can do to make Him love you more. You are loved on your good days and loved equally on your bad. God’s love for you is patient. It is kind. His love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things for you. Among the many things Jude could have written to his hearers, he chose to remind them of one thing: “keep ourselves in the love of God” (Jude 1:21). We need to live in a daily revelation of the …

Day #1: I am created in the image of God

What does it mean to be human? It means we are created in the image of God for the glorious reality of being in permanent fellowship with Him. Ravi Zacharias Genesis 1:27, “So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Welcome to day number 1 and thanks for joining me on this 21-day journey of discovering who we are in Christ. If you do not have an image problem or struggle with issues concerning your self-esteem or confidence, then you are one of the most fortunate people on planet earth. But the fact remains that every one of us struggles with some kind of complex. That is why it is important that we are reminded that we are created in the very image of God. What that means is – I am defined not by what my culture, others, or even myself think about me. I am defined by who God says I am. Psalm 139:14: I am fearfully and …

7 Joy Boosters

Here is an outline of a few thoughts from Psalm 16: Drink from the Living Spring… see verses 1, 2 Pursue healthy relationships … see verse 3 Make right choices… verse 4 Daily Meditation… see verse 7 Practice His presence… see verse 8 Stay confident in tomorrow’s promise… see verse 10 Be content in today’s provision… see verse 6 Too often we run around looking for joy in all the wrong places. We dig up wells that end up being “broken cisterns.” Remember, “we have no good apart from Him.” The sorrows of those who run after idols, pleasure and other gods will multiply. If there’s a lot of drama in your world, it’s going to drain out all your joy. Sometimes you have to stay away from all those divas, drama queens and kings in order to keep your sanity. Joy is a choice. So make that choice today. Don’t let the devil steal it. Don’t let those circumstances take your eyes of Jesus. Choose to react differently. Choose to praise instead of pout. …

Evangelism & Joy

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you. Psalm 51:12, 13 There is an undeniable link between sharing our faith and the level of our joy. We often focus on joy as a motivator for sharing our faith and long to see it expressed upon the conversion of a person. But how much impact does joy have in the process of sharing our faith? Can people feel it? Can they feel what we have? Does anyone recognize it? If I made muffins and believe my muffins are not only the very best muffins you will ever eat, but the only muffins with ingredients to make you thin, but I exhibit zero excitement about my muffins and I’m not a pound close to being thin; would it matter to anyone how good I think my muffins are? In the same way, if I believe Jesus Christ offers the very best life you could ever have in …

A Prayer for the Refugee

For the lonely and forgotten, for the weary and distressed, For the refugee and orphan, and for all who are oppressed, For the stranger who is pleading while insulted and despised, Will You rise? Will You rise? Rise up! Rise up! The earth will fear the Lord when You avenge the poor. May Your kingdom come . . . O rise up!

How to Develop a Proper view of self

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. – Ralph Waldo Emerson Do you have an improper view of yourself? Self-esteem Issues? Do you think too lowly or too highly of yourself? Do you measure your worth through the eyes of others? Are you doing life based on what you did in your last? Is your life hijacked and controlled by guilt shame and condemnation? Is there any kind of stinking thinking that have you bound? If yes, You are having an identity crisis. You are failing to see yourself and live your life the way God sees you and wants you to live. The enemy longs to: distract, distort and derail us by weighing us down with lies. These lies are meant to stop us from seen who we really are in Christ – loved, forgiven, redeemed and restored. That’s why today I would like to remind us about the stuff we’re truly made of. I would like to point us to this treasure …

Core Declarations 2017

Who are you listening to? What are you reading? Or, might I ask – what are you watching? Whoever, or whatever has your attention is shaping your life and your destiny. You say, “brother, I am not listening to anyone but myself.” Well, what are you telling yourself? If we are ever going to experience and enjoy the fullness of life, we must shame the naysayers and haters by living out the gospel in this hostile world, and win the war on negativity and pessimism, we must regularly remind ourselves by speaking the word of our confession. It is essential that we look into the word of God and allow it to shape our core values and principles. We must study, Meditate, confess and commit to radical obedience. Take 10: I’m known by God.  Even if the world never hears of me or never get to know me, I am persuaded that He knows me and It brings me satisfaction. I love my wife.  “All of her” – like someone said – “her perfect imperfections.” Just …

When Heaven invades Earth

A person cannot receive even one thing unless it is given him from heaven. Apostle John Here are 10 Bible verses about heaven invading earth: Your kingdoms come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Luke 11:20 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:1-5 When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on …
