Thy Will be done!

I know you’re good But this don’t feel good right now And I know you think Of things I could never think about It’s hard to count it all joy Distracted by the noise Just trying to make sense Of all your promises Sometimes I gotta stop Remember that you’re God And I am not Hillary Scott – Thy Will

Here is Ben Rector’s two-cents about Making Money

Making money, it isn’t easy And it sure won’t make you happy So I think it’s funny, we’re so concerned with making money And money won’t keep folks from grieving And it won’t stop love from leaving So here’s my two cents What’s the use in making money And I know that life ain’t cheap And not all good things are free But there is no enough and no too much and it seems so strange to me I just think it’s funny, we’re so concerned with making money I make my living singing love songs That I made up cause I love songs But folks believe them, So I’m receiving paper money Don’t get me wrong, I love my lady And I probably wouldn’t trade her But life’s no better with debts or debters Making money And I know that life ain’t cheap And not all good things are free But there is no enough and no too much And it seems so strange to me I just think it’s funny, we’re so concerned …

Do want to be captivated again by the wonder of Easter? You can start today by downloading and singing along to a new Easter Single. The song is written by Marty Sampson and it “tells a timeless story” If you want to remember anew or reflect on old gospel themes in a different way, than “O praise Him” will help you captivate the wonder of the Easter story. It’s the story of the Cross It’s the story of His resurrection It’s the story of His Love In my estimation – the greatest love story ever told. Download it here for free… http://hillsong.com/worship OR Listen to it below Lyrics: I cast my mind to Calvary Where Jesus bled and died for me I see His wounds, His hands His feet My Saviour on that cursed tree His body bound and drenched in tears They laid Him down in Joseph’s tomb The entrance sealed by heavy stone Messiah still and all alone Then on the third at break of dawn The Son of Heaven rose again O …

Got a Cabin in Manolo

I bought this album a few days ago and “cabin in manolo’ has been on repeat since. I discovered something very special when I decided to research the word Manolo – because I didn’t know what in the world Manolo was. Here is what I found: “The song is primarily about comparing the Bible, the unchangeable Word of God Himself, to a firearm, a weapon that can be used offensively and defensively on a daily basis to change the world for the greater good. The name “Manolo” is a variant Spanish translation of the name “Emmanuel”, meaning “God with us”. This song is about the reassurance God gives us through His Word, something that we can actually use to change the world around us for His will. The name Manolo also implies a “high life” of wealth and fame, and the artists admit in the song that, not only are there critics out there that are trying to bring them down if they slip up, but they are also admitting that they are normal sinful …

This Week: Let them see you in me

With every breath I breathe I sing a simple melody But I pray they’ll hear more than a song Lyric/Prayer Take away the melodies Take away the songs I sing Take away all the lights And all the songs You let me write Does the man I am today Say the words You need to say? Let them see You in me Let them hear You when I speak Let them feel You when I sing Let them see You This is my prayer this week – that I will decrease and Christ will increase in me. That His light may shine through me. So that it is no longer I, but Christ living in me.

Your Grace Finds me

There in the darkest night of the soul There in the sweetest songs of victory Your grace finds me Matt Redman has released another powerful song about the never ending, always constant and accessible grace of God. The song is geared toward helping us find God’s grace in the every season of life. Grace that is “there in the light of the sunrise, or in a newborn cry – on your wedding day – in the weeping by the graveside. A grace that is the same for the rich and the poor, the same for the saint in the sinner.” The grace of God finds us in the valleys, on the mountain tops and in the mundane. It finds us in times of great celebration and joy, yet in the hustle and bustle of life. Your grace finds me is the title cut from a great album that I think will impact your daily walk with Christ. I want to see dry bones living again…

The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones. Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Ezekiel 37:1, 4 Prayer I want to be close, close to Your side So Heaven is real and death is a lie I want to hear voices of angels above Singing as one I want to be near, near to Your heart Loving the world and hating the dark I want to see dry bones living again Singing as one Praise Hallelujah, Holy, Holy God Almighty, the Great I Am who is worthy, none beside Thee God Almighty, the Great I Am Declaration The mountains shake before You The demons run in fear At the mention of the name King Of Majesty There is no power in hell or any who can stand before the power and the Presence …

In case this morning sermon didn’t do it for you, Here is a song and a text.

Whatever it is you may be going through I know He’s not gonna let it get the best of you You’re an overcomer Stay in the fight ‘til the final round You’re not going under ‘Cause God is holding you right now Mandisa: Overcomer Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39
