How can I keep from singing your praise?

I can sing in the troubled times Sing when I win I can sing when I lose my step And fall down again I can sing ’cause You pick me up Sing ’cause You’re there I can sing ’cause You hear me, Lord When I call to You in prayer I can sing with my last breath Sing for I know That I’ll sing with the angels And the saints around the throne. How can i keep from singing your praise how can i ever say enough how amazing is your love how can i keep from shouting your name a know i am loved by the king and it makes my heart i am loved by the king and it makes my heart i am loved by the king and it makes my heart want to sing. Chris Tomlin What happens to your praise when you are going through difficult times or when you fail? Do you find your self singing only when things are going great? Is it difficult to maintain an attitude …

I Open My Heart

Do you feel so lost because you don’t know what to do?  Are you afraid that you are going to choose the wrong thing to do? Afraid of disappointing the Lord? Are your hopes and dreams fading fast? Are you burned out? Do you think your strength is depleting? Have you considered crying out to you Lord? Do you know that He’s the only one Who is able to pull me through? If your life is so cloudy… consider praying this today: Lord show me how To do things your way. Don’t let me make the same mistakes Over and over again. Your will be done And I’ll be the one To make sure the it’s carried out And in me, I don’t want any doubt That’s why… All I need to do Is hear a single word from you I open up my heart Just one word could make A difference in what I do Lord I open my heart to you… You’re the lover of my soul Captain of my sea I need a word from you That’s why I open up …

Big But

Seems we have all kinds of excuses not to do the things we ought to be doing. Simple truth of the matter is… we all have Big Buts that get in the way of us consistently living a sold-out life for Jesus. This comical look at the subject of excuses might just get you to agree that it’s time to “shrink the but”.

Long way home

My 9 year old daughter is usually not in a great mode in the morning. From the time her alarm goes off, to shower time, breakfast, bible reading and prayer to the moment we kiss goodby at school, you better tread carefully with her. But today was not like one of those days. She’s got a little cool thing…alarm/cd/radio in her room that she has set to her favorite christian radio station. So every morning she wakes up with christian songs blasting through the house. Like I said, she is not in a great mode every morning, but when she is, it results into days like today – singing, laughter, she even reads her portion of the scripture loud and clear and makes a comment about it. Today we drove to school singing one of her favorite songs – and I have been singing it all day today. Thought I share it with everyone!

Have a little faith in Fishburne

Laurence Fishburne is one of my favorite actors and for me he has been brilliant in all the stuff he has done over the years. He has played 1. a cowboy on Peewee’s Playhouse 2. a gangster in Death Wish 2 3. a rock ‘n’ roll legend in What’s Love Got to Do With It? 4. the captain of a hovercraft called the Nebuchadnezzar in the The Matrix 5. a college professor and spelling coach in Akeelah and the Bee… a movie I have watched over 10 or 15 time with my daughters… 6. the Silver Surfer (Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer) 7. Not forgetting Boys N the Hood… (I actually didn’t want to mention this) some of his stuff on CSI as Dr. Ray Langston, Contagion, and his Recent Emmy-nominated HBO telecast “Thurgood” — which earned him Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards when he performed the one-man show on Broadway. Fishburne’s latest role in the Hallmark Channel Hall of Fame movie Have a Little Faith, airing Sunday, Nov. 27, on ABC-TV. The movie, based …

Tintin

The Adventures of Tintin series was created in 1929 by a Belgian artist who called himself Hergé. Clever and ever-curious, Tintin is a reporter-turned-detective whose pursuit of villains, criminals, treasure and the occasional artifact takes him all over the world, along with a colorful cast of friends. Hergé based his stories on real-world events and cultures that had caught the Belgian national attention — from space exploration to Arab oil wars — and brought them to life for his readers in inspiring and exciting ways.
