Unstoppable

The weeks gone by have been unbelievably dark and discouraging. There were times I felt like the sky was literally falling. It brought memories of me driving through the fog heavily resting over San Francisco. The days, however are becoming  a little less gloomy. I can almost see Jesus clearing the dark clouds, one giant sweep at a time. I can also hear Him say, “you’ve come too far to give up now.”

Do you know how that makes me feel? I feel like the sky is the limit. I feel like I can do any thing. I feel unstoppable. In the words of Smokey Norful, I feel like:

“There is nothing that I can’t do, as long I have you. I can sail on the clouds, make a mountain lay down. I can breathe in the deep blue sea. I can ride on the star. I can make a storm stand still;  kick off my shoe and dance on the moon.” Smokie Norful

By the Lord’s help, I can run through a troop.

By Him I can leap over a wall.

He makes my feet like hinds’ feet – able to stand firmly or make progress on the dangerous heights of testing and trouble.

He teaches my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

He has given me plenty of room for my steps under me, that my feet would not slip.

Now I have the courage, strength and skills to live life, reach my dreams and take down any obstacle in my way.

Every valley shall be lifted and filled up; and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked  and uneven shall be made straight and level, and the rough places a plain.

I am not going to sit by and let anything rub me of my destiny. I am not going down without a fight. God has made me a conqueror. He has deposited too much in me to let it go to waste. Here I come! Everything that belongs to me, I’m taking back.

  1. Walter,
I’ve been feeling the exact same way! Wavering but hearing God say “I have your back.” He walks in front of me, He walks on both sides of me, and He walks behind me as He has my back. Your words are always so beautiful. I’m glad I have them to read. They always leas right to the Lord. Amen.
Big changes coming up over at my ministry website/blog. Because I’ve been listening!
    🙂
