DOORS: The Ones you open and walk through

; Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut… God has put us all on a path that lead to many doors of opportunities. Each of us would be exceedingly wise to enter each door of opportunity that God opens for us. Here is a list of a few: The door of sonship – John 1:12 The door of deliverance – Exodus 12:22, 23 The door of miracles – 2 Kings 4:4, 5 The door of victory – Daniel 3:26 The door of hope – Hosea 2:15 The door of prayer and communion with God – Matt. 6:6 The door of boldness – Luke 11:7, 8 The door to the salvation – John 10:1, 2, 9, The door of faith – Acts 14:27 The door of effectual work (door of kingdom opportunity) 1 Corinthians 16:9 The door of utterance – Col. 4:3 The open door – Revelation 3:8 The doorway to heaven – Revelation 4:1 Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one …

Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow – Who promised you tomorrow?

And he said, “Tomorrow.” Moses said, “Be it as you say, so that you may know that there is no one like the LORD our God. Exodus 8:10 Have you ever had a “duh” moment reading the Bible? A moment when you perceived that the action or decision taken by someone you are reading about was foolish or stupid. Well, I had one the other day reading Exodus chapter 8. God had sent Moses to Egypt to tell Pharoah to let His People go. If Pharoah did not let the people go, He would pour his wrath upon the land. Chapter 8 of Exodus is where we find our second wrath. The first being the turning of the river Nile into a river of blood. Seven days after that, one would think Pharaoh will repent and let the people go. Instead, he hardens his heart and sits through another horrifying experience. This time it’s frogs. Frogs are everywhere. They came out of the land and covered it. Pharoah calls Moses and begs him to plead …

Come Now, let us reason together

> There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel’s vein and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stain.Lose all their guilty stain The most important thing one can ever enjoy from a relationship with God is the blessing and hope of being forgiven of past, present and future sins. As long as we stay under the blood, covered and cleansed daily we can rest assured of His continued presence and blessing. We are purchased by the blood of Jesus Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he purchased with his own blood. Acts 20:28 We are redeemed by the blood of Jesus “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.” Ephesians 1:7 We are cleansed, washed and sanctified “For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, …

Hanging in the Bay

<;;;a I just met a guy who offered two gospel tracks to me. I did take them because I wanted him to give it to somebody who needed them. I asked him if he was a believer and he said yes… A convert from Islam. That Jesus appeared to him in his dream and told him to believe in Him and in the gospel. Well, he did and his entire family from Iran are now followers of Jesus. We sat and talked for a good 20-30 minutes and didn’t fail to mention how the Lord healed his dad from cancer – and how his dad immediately began following Jesus. My new friend is from Iran and I can not show you his picture nor share his name. He is on his way to India to do some missionary work. Please pray that God will protect and use this mightily. You can call him the evangelist from Iran when you pray for him. Friends, there are hundreds and thousands of these guys all around the world …

I heard a story some time ago about an ungodly farmer. It is said that when he  died, it was discovered in his will that he had left his farm to the Devil. In the court, they didn’t quite know what to do with it — how do you give a farm to the Devil? Finally, the judge decided: “The best way to carry out the wishes of the deceased is to allow the farm to grow weeds, the soil to erode, and the house and barn to rot. In our opinion, the best way to leave something to the Devil is to do nothing.” In the same way, we can leave our lives to the Devil doing nothing. Just let the weeds grow, and the soil of our hearts erode and our spiritual house rot, slowly drifting away with whatever currents this world might. But the Bible warns of the dangers of neglecting our great salvation: Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. For since the …

Oh what a Happy Day!

Habakkuk 3:18 “yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.” There is just something about knowing Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. He brings joy, peace, life everlasting and a certain sense of serenity. Have you experience that yet in your life. I promise you that this will be your song every day for the rest of your life.

Where are you… Where are you going?

You stir men to take pleasure in praising you, because you have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless until we rest in you… Andreas J. Kostenberger Page 78 of  Excellence. Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward …
