Lead Me to the Rock that is higher than I “Sometimes when we get overwhelmed we forget how big God is.” AW Tozer #tozer — A W Tozer (@TozerAW) April 24, 2015 From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. 2-scriptures to help you in our fight against sin

Sometimes when we discover certain verses of scripture, we go “bingo, I have found the answer to everything.” We kind of hold on to that verse as if it were the last word on the subject. If we are not careful, we can easily be lead into error. How so, you may ask? For example, when we read something like – “if you ask anything in my name I will do” we might think this is it, “he said and that settles it.” Well, there is a qualifier to that verse – and if we fail to take it into consideration, we could fall into error. The qualifier says, “if you ask anything according to my will.” The two scriptures I’m about to use today can sometimes seem opposed one to the other – at least some would like to make them look so. But I think they compliment or qualify one another. A clear understanding of these two scriptures is key to gaining the victory and staying victorious over sin. 1. She fights for her life and nobody knows

Okay, I was on Google+ last nigh and I came across this wonderful animated stop motion video posted by Christopher Michel. It was the most creative thing I’ve seen in a while. I must confess that I’m not familiar with stop motion that much, so I obsessed with it for a while, sending it to a few people. I wanted to post it on my blog but I didn’t know who was singing and what the song was. I am kind of dogmatic sometimes about – what I call “worldly music.” Anyways, since I watched the thing for more than a million times :0 I couldn’t help but think about this line – “she fights for her life and nobody knows.” That kind of hit me. How many times do we meet people who are going through difficult times and we fail to go deeper, beyond the smiles, the fancy cloths, nice shoes and great makeup? Or, how many times we carry stuff, and instead of getting real and vulnerable, we hide behind a mask. …

You are not a lost cause

I love the way Herbert plays the words in this video. Friends, until we can get heaven’s perspective on life and why we are here, our lives will resemble that of a person described in the first part of the video. You are not a lost cause and yes, you are different and can change the world!
