Day #10: I am more than a conqueror

I’ve heard His story. I’ve tasted His glory. I’ve read the end of His Book. We win! – End of story. Romans 8:37 “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” It is best for us to outline or provide a list of things we overcome in Romans 8 to understand the fullness or depth of our victory over the enemy of our soul. Check this out: Tribulation Distress Persecution Famine Nakedness Danger Sword Death Life Angels Rulers/Demons/principalities Things present Things to come Powers Height Depth Anything else in all creation WOW! Who shall bring any charge against? No one! Who can condemn us? No one! Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? No one! Who can curse us? No one! Scripture says “no weapon forged against us will prosper. And every tongue risen against us in judgment – we will condemn.” W are Shielded We are eternally shielded and secure in the love and protection of our Savior. Scripture says, “By God’s power are protected …

Monday Night Meditation

Your God has Summoned Power for you   A few weeks ago Didi Higgins walked into our church with Breast Cancer. She shared her story with us and our hearts broke for her. A bunch of women gathered around her praying and crying over her. We put her on our prayer chain for continued prayer. Yesterday she showed up at church with a report from her doctor – cancer free. God healed her completely! I am so thankful to The Lord for his healing. And to Him be all the glory. Psalm 68:28 says, “summon your power oh God. Show us your strength like you have done before.” In most Hebrew manuscripts, the phrase is – Your God has summoned power for you. So let it be tonight. That God’s power will heal, save and deliver everyone needing his mighty hand.

Be thou removed: Prayer of a man they called “Consecrated Cobbler

When William Carey went to India, many a wise man would have said to him, “You may lust as well walk up to the Himalaya mountains, and order them to be removed and cast into the sea.” I would have said, “That is perfectly true; this Hinduism is as vast and as solid as those mountains; but we have faith-not much, yet we have faith as a grain of mustard seed”; and William Carey said, “I will go up to the mountain.” Lonely and weak he walked up towards the mountain, which in the eye of man seemed verily one of the summits of human things, far above all power to touch or shako it; and with his own feeble voice he began saying, “Be thou removed! be thou removed!” And the world looked on and laughed, a celebrated clergyman, looking down from his high place in the Edinburgh Review, was much amused with the spectacle of that poor man down in Bengal, thinking in his simple heart that he was going to disturb Hinduism; …

Releasing a culture of Victory in the face of Opposition

One of the key truths about the kingdom of God, the church or a believer is that we always seem to triumph even in the mist of intense opposition. For example: The massive Goliath falls to a boy with five smooth stones Pharaoh’s pursuit and the parting of the Red Sea. A great multitude of Moabites and Ammonites came against Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat prayed. God spoke. The worship band sang. God moved. Israel won the battle. Jesus lived and died. His disciples begin to spread the good news. Opposition is as intense as it was with Jesus. Some get killed, yet the truth still lives, impacting countless millions. Time after time we win. No matter the opposition. No matter the issue, no matter the seeming setbacks, we win. Truth gets twisted but it never breaks. Kingdoms rise, kingdoms fall, He is immovable rock, so are we. Jesus said, “I will build my church and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it!” Here are a few things we need to do when faced with opposition 1. Remember God …
