No sin in your past, present or future should paralyze your faith – because you are covered by the precious blood of Jesus. “I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven for his name’s sake.” 1 John 2:12. It is so amazing to know you are forgiven. It isn’t just the feeling of feeling forgiven, it is the understanding of how much you’ve been forgiven. It is the share fact that you no longer face the penalty of death for your sins. It is the joy that comes to your life because the weight of all your guilt is lifted. All of your debt, past, present and future has been erased, wiped clean – free of charge. That is amazing grace, something that everyone should know and experience.
