Day #4: I am forgiven!

No sin in your past, present or future should paralyze your faith – because you are covered by the precious blood of Jesus.

“I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven for his name’s sake.” 1 John 2:12.
It is so amazing to know you are forgiven. It isn’t just the feeling of feeling forgiven, it is the understanding of how much you’ve been forgiven.
  • It is the share fact that you no longer face the penalty of death for your sins.
  • It is the joy that comes to your life because the weight of all your guilt is lifted.
All of your debt, past, present and future has been erased, wiped clean – free of charge. That is amazing grace, something that everyone should know and experience.
Scriptures says, “as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us” (Psalm 103:12).
  • All your transgressions
  • All your Iniquities
  • All your sins committed
  • All your sins omitted
  • All washed away with the blood of Jesus.
No sin in your past, present or future should paralyze your faith – because it’s been taken care of by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
The scripture is clear: “we overcome by the blood of the Lamb.”
  • God is not mad at you
  • God is not frustrated with you
  • God is not just waiting for you to step out of line so He can knock you out
He is working to keep you in line. And if you ever fall out of line, He is faithful and just to forgive you all your sins when you confess it. You can be confident that “He ever lives to intercede” for you. You can have assurance that you have an advocate before Him – Jesus Christ Himself.

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! Psalm 32:1

Remember – this is a free gift from God. So rejoice in it today with full assurance!
Prayer:
Father, I thank you for your unconditional forgiveness. Allow me to not only know that I am forgiven but also feel it a deeply intimate way. Let joy be released into my life. I confess that there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. My shame and guilt has been taken away. I am Forgiven! In Jesus Name – Amen!
