Question of the Day

closer to christ_wide_t_ntIs it possible that the setbacks and detours in our lives can

actually be signposts direction us to the destination that God has chosen for us?

  1. YES…I DO BELIEVE SO… This year has prove that to me so clearly. I came to ATL for one mission but I guess my mission was God’s mission…I ended up getting a professor job which was not even in my thought until the month when I apply…that was eight months out of work.

Hi, I was away from WP for a while so I thought I’d drop in to catch up on reading some of the posts you posted this past week. I especially liked this one, and I feel that Yes! I do believe some of our setbacks are like closed doors leading us to those right doors. Thanks for taking the time to encourage us and to motivate us continually! May the Lord continue to be your every day supply of blessings and grace!:)

    • Hey, welcome back…
Hope all is well with you.
Thank you so very much for your kind words and blessings. May they be multiply 100 time back to you.

Someone said that when he closes a door he always opens another. Stay blessed and see you on your blog.

  3. Oh without a doubt yes. So many times prayers go ‘unanswered’ but every door we see as closing is really one opening in the direction God would have us take.

  4. I was feeling a little bit low but when I read your post it inspired me to think about life. Yes I agree whatever our Lord decides for us is a blessing for us and all setbacks which have looked terrible at the time proved that they were for my good. Thank you my brother for reminding me about His blessings for us. It has cheated me up.

    • you are welcome… I’m so glad that you are lifted up a little bit. He promised never to leave us nor forsake us. So count your blessings and name them one by one – it will surprise you what the Lord has done and is going to do…

  5. Yes!!! Absolutely!!! As frustrating as all those setbacks and roadblocks were over the years, I can look back now and see how it was God all along, directing my paths. I am so grateful that He’s big enough to make sure I end up where He wants me, even when I’m not necessarily consciously participating in His plan. 🙂

    • I am tempted to think that in all things, the good the bad and the ugly, God is working for my good. I am greatly encouraged by that,,,

Judy, thanks for adding value to this post by sharing your wonderful experience and journey with the Lord. Stay Blessed!
