Set-up for Success

Success

I am sure you remember when you were a kid how your teacher
would do a timely review before a big test. He/She would say something like
“pay attention to this or that, especially page number 7 (for example)
because it is coming on the test.” If you ever had a teacher like that –
you would understand that he/she wanted you to be prepared so that you could do
well on your test. You see, they put us to the test alright – but they set us
up for success.

How is the Lord setting you up for success today?

I would like to share one or two bible verses that I think
deals with this topic:

Deuteronomy 10:13

and to observe the LORD’s commands and decrees that I am
giving you today for your own good?

1 Corinthians 7:35

I am saying this for your own good, not to restrict you, but
that you may live in a right way in undivided devotion to the Lord.

God is always looking out for our good. He knows that we are
prone to choose paths that are not healthy for us. So to protect us from making
foolish mistakes He gives us principles, guidelines, commands in order to set
us up for success.

I encourage us to always remember that all things work
together for good to them that love the Lord. So whatever you might be going
through today – remember it is a set up for your success.
