A child who is allowed to be disrespectful to his parents will not have true respect for anyone. Billy Graham

I must admit I just don’t know how to title this post. I thought about the following: for better or for worse kick her out when she get sick when context really matter before you jump to conclusion before you demonize somebody great debate grounds for divorce Why are you asking Pat Robertson Talk to an expert or see an ethicist Love has everything to do with it How things can easily be taken out of context Also, there are so many angles to this story – but here is what I personally think: I personally think marriage is for better or for worst – in sickness and in health – love, loyalty and committment. And I would like to encourage anyone living with a partner suffering from Alzheimer’s to remain faithful to your partner, God is faithful and will see you through if you continue to lean on him and rely on his strength. He will also honor you if you honor the wife of your youth. However, I do admit that sometimes in life …
There are several places in the scriptures where the phrase “Let Us” occur over and over. I would like to share them with you so that together we can discover what we are being called or motivated to do. Romans 12:6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; Romans 13:12 The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:13 Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. Romans 14:13 Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. Romans 14:19 So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. Romans 15:2 Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to …
If you need a bit of motivation in your walk with the Lord here are a few passages in the book of Hebrews Hebrews 4:1 Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it. Hebrews 4:11 Let us, therefore, strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. Hebrews 4:14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. Hebrews 4:16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 6:1 Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God again, Hebrews 10:22 let us draw near with a pure heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts …
Stan GuthrieTrue or Merely Useful? All religions don’t lead in the same direction. When I was a new believer seeking reasons for my faith, I inhaled the writings of Christian apologists such as C.S. Lewis and Josh McDowell. The way my unsophisticated mind summarized much of their material was something along the lines of, “Christianity is different from all other world religions because it is the only one in which we don’t have to earn our way to heaven, because salvation is by faith, not by works.” Boston University’s Stephen Prothero no doubt would have challenged my simple formula on a number of levels, such as the obvious one that Christianity includes a prominent place for works, and other religions also have faith—that is, trust—in something at least. One point we would have wholeheartedly agreed on, however, is that Christianity indeed differs from all other faiths. But Prothero would have gone further: all the world religions, in fact, differ one from another. Prothero dismisses as sentimental nonsense the theories of many other religion scholars, such as …
What a Day that will be I first heard this hymn in 1991, just around the time I gave my heart to the Lord. My spiritual father cranked up his Korg and with veins popping and tears flowing down his cheeks began to sing this song – boy, it was heavenly, it was beautiful, and from that day I was hooked. This is one of my favorite hymns. Written By James Hill/ 20th Century/ Hymns of Glorious Praise/ Page 252 Verse 1 There is coming a day when no heart-aches shall come, No more clouds in the sky, no more tears to dim the eye; All is peace forevermore on that happy golden shore – what a day a glorious day that will be. Chorus: What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see when I look upon His face the One who saved me by His grace when he takes me by the hand and leads me through the promise land – what a day, a glorious day that will be. Verse 2 …

Look out for the good things, not the faults. It takes a good deal bigger-sized brain to find out what is not wrong with people and things than to find out what is wrong.
Disputation on the Power and Efficacy of Indulgences Commonly Known as The 95 Theses
Out of love and concern for the truth, and with the object of eliciting it, the following heads will be the subject of a public discussion at Wittenberg under the presidency of the reverend father, Martin Luther, Augustinian, Master of Arts and Sacred Theology, and duly appointed Lecturer on these subjects in that place. He requests that whoever cannot be present personally to debate the matter orally will do so in absence in writing.
