About Blog

If we would only give the same amount of reflection of what we want out of life that we give to the question of what to do with two weeks’ vacation we would be startled at our false standards and the aimless procession of our busy days. Dorothy Canfield Fisher

Where are you and where are you going? This blog encourages you to live with the end in view. In order to do that you must first know where you are than decide what is most important to you in order steer your life in the right direction. We write about things of eternal significance and earthly importance: Relationship with God, family and friendship, personal development, leadership, career, finances, theology, culture, ministry and missional living. We challenge our readers to:

refine their theological understanding, with these topics in mind, while keeping the end in view sharpen their ethical rigor with these topics in mind, while keeping the end in view heighten their devotional intensity with these topics in mind, while keeping the end in view

The way we do this is by allowing the word of God to be the guiding principle that helps us navigate through life until we reach our destination. There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us. 2 Timothy 3:16 Start the Journey

Walter as I read some of your post tonight. I felt like the Lord wants you to know he has His hand upon you All will be alright. This might seem a bit strange to you. However I do try to always be obedient. It is amazing the knowledge that God has shared with you through the years. You have a good heart and soul.

    Peace to you

  2. Walter, I want to thank you for following my blog and liking yesterday’s post about my book, “Back to the Basics: A Guide for Christian Living.” As you know from reading the post, it is marked down this month at Amazon. Since this book will only get in the hands of readers by word-of-mouth, if you enjoy my writings and find them helpful, would you please help me spread the word by sharing with your friends? I will leave two links for you (maybe you want to reblog or perhaps you have a better idea how to spread it around). Thanks. 🙂

I just want you to know that I truly without doubt admire your passion for the Word of God. It is like a rare jewel, and I thank God for the conviction he has placed in your heart to stand firmly on the cornerstone of our faith, Jesus Christ. I don’t know how you do it brother, you are a soldier. I thank God for you and I just want to say thank you for caring so much. Hallelujah! Many blessings to you and yours.

  15. You’re doing good here. Keep up the good work. I’m doing a verse by verse study of Galatians on calebseye2.wordpress.com if you are interested in such things, but it does look like you are already devoted to Bible study and spiritual growth. God bless you in your work.
