So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. 2 Corinthians 5:9 ESV
I prayer for the traveling Evangelist, the Key Note Speaker, the Motivational Speaker, the christian business man! and the missionary on furlough. Every man and woman of God, either on a plane, driving the highway, resting at a hotel or a motel. For those on the frontlines advancing the kingdom, Lord I pray for a divine covering over their lives. If they are married, Lord keep their families safe. Father, I prayer for your favor and provision to rest upon their lives. Lord, destroy every plot and plan of the evil one over their live. Help each one of them to resist the devil, and fight every temptation. Draw each one of them to yourself. Help each one of them to be vigilant, prayerful, watchful. Bless the work of their hands and may your Kingdom come and your will be done in and through their lives – In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
Amen!

Thank you for this Walter. It would be a tough, challenging “road” for travelling ministers, and this is a very powerful prayer. I know missionaries on furlough who are speaking at various functions, as well as ministers who do travel to speak at various locations. I was thinking of them, as well as the ones I don’t know as I was reading and praying. THANK YOU!

“I prayer for the traveling …”
I read this an thought – this so cool! So random – and so cool! Thank you Walter!
And then He whispered (as He does): “Are you travelling, Paul?”
And you and He prompted this thought: if this prayer does not apply to each and every one of us – then why not? If we are all not “travelling” with Him and in Him and each other – what exactly is it we are doing (or not)! And that seems a really cool thought! Thank you both!! 🙂

That is a really power thought, I really didn’t think of it in that light. I was simply praying for traveling ministers. Wow! How easy is it for us to forget that we are strangers and pilgrims seeking a better homeland. Wow! Thanks for adding value to this post by your reminder that we are all traveling. I join my prayers with yours for all our fellow travelers. Sometimes the road gets dark and lonely, but Jesus is always there to cheer us up. Stay blessed!
