Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9
What you need is just 20 seconds of insane courage. Literally, just twenty seconds of embarrassing bravery. And I promise you something great will come out of it.
Did you know that the phrase – “Be strong and courageous occurs more than 10 times in the NIV Bible? This must be pretty important for the Lord to remind us over and again.
So give yourself permission today to “be strong and courageous.” No matter to outcome of your courage or bravery, just make sure that fear doesn’t paralyze you.
Great words…love the movie, too. Have a good one my friend. Hope things are good with you!

I wrote a post about that quote and movie a while back, but I kind of took it from the angle of, “Yeah, right. Like that could actually happen.” It’s a good quote, though. And it’s important to remember bravery. Not much is gained from cowardice. And even if things don’t work out, at least you tried…. Great post, new friend 🙂

Thanks Jessica, cowardice amounts to absolutely nothing. I remember the first time I stood before my fellow school mates – I had just been voted student counsel president and had to give a speech. I had never done anything like that and I really didn’t want to do it, but somehow I found the courage to do it – it turned out em… okay. At least I tried. Thanks for the comment my new friend…
